The Garasia of India
The Garasia of India, numbering about 298,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of the Aravalli hills in Rajasthan whose name may mean hill-dwellers, tracing legendary descent from a union between a Bhil woman and a Rajput prince, and traditionally sustained by agriculture in relative isolation.
They are an indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Adiwasi Garasia.
