The Bajgi of India
The Bajgi of India, numbering about 32,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste community of the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand whose name derives from their traditional occupation of drum-beating. They are also known as Auji for their work as tailors, and they practice Hinduism.
They are an indigenous people in the Nepali-Pahari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Garhwali.
