The Ghasi of India
The Ghasi of India, numbering about 706,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of northern India whose name means fish killer, honored with the title Naik for their musical skill, traditionally serving as drum-beaters, fishermen, and cultivators.
They are an indigenous people in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism, and they primarily speak Hindi.
