The Ghirath of India
The Ghirath of India, numbering about 375,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a large Himachal Pradesh community also known as Bahti. Their name derives from ghritam, meaning ghee, or bahna, meaning to plow, both signifying their traditional occupation of agriculture and animal husbandry.
They are an indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Kangri.
