The Dom of India
The Dom of India, numbering about 1,320,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of debated origin distributed across many Indian states. The Dom traditionally work in bamboo basketry, gravedigging, and cremation duties.
They are an indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism, and they primarily speak Odia.
