The Usakade of Nigeria
The Usakade of Nigeria, numbering about 15,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a community closely tied to the Efut people, sharing a small Lower Cross language with the Isangele community across the border in Cameroon, whose last fluent speaker of the related Usakedet tongue died in 2001.
They are an indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Usaghade.
