The Seri of Mexico
The Seri of Mexico, numbering about 1,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the Comcaac, or people, of Sonora's Gulf of California coast facing Tiburon Island, granted communal title to the island by presidential decree in 1975 after their population collapsed from over 5,000 to just 300 by 1930 amid warfare and disease.
They are an indigenous people in the Central American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Catholicism, and they primarily speak Spanish.
