The Paipai of Mexico
The Paipai of Mexico, numbering about 350 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Yuman-language people of northern Baja California's Sierra de Juarez, related to the Kumeyaay and Kiliwa, first encountered by Sebastian Vizcaino's 1602 Spanish expedition and later missionized by Dominicans after Spain expelled the Jesuits in 1767.
They are an indigenous people in the Central American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Catholicism, and they primarily speak Spanish.
