The Georgians of Turkiye
The Georgians of Turkiye, numbering about 181,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Georgian-speaking Muslim community of Turkiye's Black Sea region, descended from converts to Islam under Ottoman rule. Unlike most Georgians, who remain Orthodox Christian, this community keeps the Kartvelian language with a Sunni identity.
They are a diaspora people in the Caucasus people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Georgian.
