The Ingush of the Russian Federation
The Ingush of the Russian Federation, numbering about 445,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Vainakh people of Ingushetia in Russia's North Caucasus, closely related to the neighboring Chechens, whose entire population was deported to Central Asia in Stalin's 1944 Aardakh alongside the Chechens, with survivors barred from returning until 1957.
They are an indigenous people in the Caucasus people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Ingush.
