The Andi of the Russian Federation
The Andi of the Russian Federation, numbering about 40,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Sunni Muslim people of Dagestan's Botlikhsky District in the North Caucasus, linguistically part of the Avar-Andic group and closely tied to the Avars, whose literary language they use in place of their own unwritten tongue.
They are an indigenous people in the Caucasus people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Andi.
