The Tatars of Kyrgyzstan
The Tatars of Kyrgyzstan, numbering about 7,900 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Turkic Muslim diaspora community descended mainly from migrants from Russia's Volga-Ural region; they preserve elements of Tatar language and culture while participating in the diverse societies of Central Asia.
They are a diaspora people in the Ural-Siberian people cluster of the Turkic Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Tatar.
