The Khunsari of Iran
The Khunsari of Iran, numbering about 24,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Central Iranian Plateau people of Khansar in western Isfahan province whose distinct language, now shifting toward Persian among the young, was once shared by a local Jewish community's own dialect.
They are an indigenous people in the Persian people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples. Their primary religion is Shia Islam, and they primarily speak Khunsari.
