The Parachi of Afghanistan
The Parachi of Afghanistan, numbering about 12,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an eastern Iranian people living in isolated valleys of eastern Afghanistan. They speak Parachi, an endangered Iranian language, and are predominantly Sunni Muslims with a distinct linguistic heritage.
They are an indigenous people in the Persian people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Parachi.
