The Prasuni Nuristani of Afghanistan
The Prasuni Nuristani of Afghanistan, numbering about 12,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Nuristani people inhabiting the remote Prasun Valley of northeastern Afghanistan's Nuristan region. They speak Prasuni, a distinct Nuristani language, and are predominantly Sunni Muslims with a strong mountain cultural identity.
They are an indigenous people in the Nuristani people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Prasuni.
