The Kohistani of Afghanistan
The Kohistani of Afghanistan, numbering about 2,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a diverse group of ethnolinguistic communities living in the Kohistan region, which spans parts of northern Pakistan and a small portion of northeastern Afghanistan near the borders with Tajikistan and Pakistan.
They are an indigenous people in the Kashmiri people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Gawri.
