The Kairui-Midik of Timor-Leste
The Kairui-Midik of Timor-Leste, numbering about 20,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small community of central Timor-Leste centered on Kairui village in Manatuto and the Venilale and Viqueque areas, one of the country's most endangered indigenous language groups.
They are an indigenous people in the Timor people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Kairui-Midiki.
