The Tehit of Indonesia
The Tehit of Indonesia, numbering about 13,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Papuan ethnolinguistic people of the Bird's Head Peninsula in Southwest Papua, Indonesia. They maintain a distinct identity rooted in clan networks, customary territories, forest and coastal homelands, and the Teminabuan region.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Tehit.
