The Taworta of Indonesia
The Taworta of Indonesia, numbering about 350 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Papuan ethnolinguistic community of the Central Mamberamo region in Highland Papua, Indonesia. Also known as the Dabra or Diebroud people, they maintain a distinct identity rooted in remote forests, river systems, and customary lands.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Taworta.
