The Taori-Kei of Indonesia

The Taori-Kei of Indonesia, numbering about 300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Papuan ethnolinguistic community of the Lakes Plain region of Papua, Indonesia. Also known as the Kaiy or Torweja people, they maintain a distinct identity rooted in riverine wetlands, customary lands, and remote Mamberamo communities.

They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Kaiy.
