The Isirawa of Indonesia
The Isirawa of Indonesia, numbering about 2,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Papuan ethnolinguistic community of the north coast of Papua (Indonesia), centered in Sarmi Regency, with a shared language, local social institutions, kinship networks, and cultural traditions.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Isirawa.
