The Nimboran of Indonesia
The Nimboran of Indonesia, numbering about 5,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a people of Jayapura Regency's Nimboran, Nimbokrang, and Nambluong river valleys in Papua, Indonesia, whose language is tentatively linked to Trans-New Guinea though its pronouns diverge from that proposal, now giving way among the young to Papuan Malay.
They are an indigenous people in the Maluku-Central people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Papuan Malay.
