The Kurima of Indonesia
The Kurima of Indonesia, numbering about 7,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a highland Papua people speaking the Kurima dialect of Lower Grand Valley Dani, in mountains first sighted by Westerners in 1938, named in Damal oral tradition as a gathering point for dispersing Papuan ancestors.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Lower Grand Valley Dani.
