The Ulumanda of Indonesia
The Ulumanda of Indonesia, numbering about 50,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Austronesian farming and fishing people of West Sulawesi, Indonesia, part of the historic Pitu Ulunna Salu confederation within the Mandar cultural sphere, predominantly Muslim while retaining strong folk-animist custom.
They are an indigenous people in the Bugi-Makassar of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Ulumanda'.
