The Tulambatu of Indonesia
The Tulambatu of Indonesia, numbering about 7,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bungku-dialect people of North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, whose oral history traces their founding to migrations from Bungku, Torete, and Buleleng, preserved in the grave of a Tulambatu king and centuries-old relics unique to the village.
They are an indigenous people in the Bungku-Bajau people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Bungku.
