The Tajio of Indonesia
The Tajio of Indonesia, numbering about 16,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Celebic-speaking people of the Tomini Gulf coast in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, whose Islamic heritage traces to 17th-century Mandar nobility and whose customary monikah tradition emphasizes brotherhood and unity.
They are an indigenous people in the Kaili-Tomini of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Tajio.
