The Ratahan of Indonesia
The Ratahan of Indonesia, numbering about 47,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Sangiric-branch people embedded within Minahasa in southern North Sulawesi, Indonesia, whose ancestral Ratahan language has largely given way among most speakers to the regional Manado Malay lingua franca.
They are an indigenous people in the Minahasa-Sangir of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Manado Malay.
