The Kioko of Indonesia
The Kioko of Indonesia, numbering about 1,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a small Austronesian-speaking Islamic island community, historically inland people who were relocated toward coastal areas by Indonesian resettlement programs.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Kioko.
