The Galumpang of Indonesia
The Galumpang of Indonesia, numbering about 23,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Toraja-related people of West Sulawesi's Kalumpang district, home to one of Indonesia's two oldest Neolithic sites tracing early Austronesian civilization, whose ikat weaving tradition, known as sekomandi, continues to express ancestral identity today.
They are an indigenous people in the Toraja of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Kalumpang.
