The Konjo Pesisir of Indonesia
The Konjo Pesisir of Indonesia, numbering about 189,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a coastal Sulawesi people renowned for over four centuries as master builders of the pinisi sailing ship used across the Indonesian archipelago, whose elders traditionally forbade their own kinsmen from long voyages to protect the craft's lineage.
They are an indigenous people in the Bugi-Makassar of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Coastal Konjo.
