The Wanukaka of Indonesia
The Wanukaka of Indonesia, numbering about 18,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a West Sumba people descended from two founding migrations, one overland through Anakalang and one along the coast from Cape Sasar, whose headhunting persisted until Dutch suppression in the 1920s, still hosting the Pasola ceremony with Kodi and Lamboya.
They are an indigenous people in the Flores-Sumba-Alor people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Wanukaka.
