The Kelong of Indonesia
The Kelong of Indonesia, numbering about 18,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous non-Austronesian people of western Alor Island whose identity is rooted in the Klon language and former ties to the Kui polity, while preserving distinct village traditions within the wider Alor-Pantar cultural region.
They are an indigenous people in the Flores-Sumba-Alor people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Kelon.
