The Roma of Indonesia

The Roma of Indonesia, numbering about 2,600 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an island people of Maluku's Romang island who retained traditional beliefs until conversion to Christianity in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, ruled since around 1665 by a line of rajas beginning with Cornelis Bakker across Wetar, Roma, and Leti.

They are an indigenous people in the Maluku-Southern people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Roma.
