The Pago of Indonesia
The Pago of Indonesia, numbering about 4,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Papuan-speaking people of North Halmahera, predominantly Christian, whose ancestral territory has been the site of a long-running land-rights dispute with the Gosowong Gold Mine operating there without their consent since 1999.
They are an indigenous people in the Maluku-Northern people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Pagu.
