The Oirata of Indonesia

The Oirata of Indonesia, numbering about 2,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the original settlers of Indonesia's Kisar Island by tradition led by the ancestor Hano'o via Timor and the Damar Islands, speaking a Fataluku-related language unlike the island's Austronesian-speaking Meher majority.

They are an indigenous people in the Maluku-Southern people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Oirata.
