The Mangole of Indonesia
The Mangole of Indonesia, numbering about 9,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a clan subgroup of the Austronesian Sula people on Mangole Island in Indonesia's Sula archipelago, once a vassal of the Tidore and Ternate sultanates, sustained by fishing, sago gathering, and the customary sasi harvest system.
They are an indigenous people in the Maluku-Northern people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Mangole.
