The Kur of Indonesia
The Kur of Indonesia, numbering about 4,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an island people of Kur in Indonesia's Kai archipelago, Maluku, of mixed Papuan and Malay Austronesian ancestry, subsisting on fishing, sago and copra and predominantly Sunni Muslim.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Kur.
