The Fordat of Indonesia
The Fordat of Indonesia, numbering about 69,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Austronesian people of Fordata Island in Indonesia's Tanimbar archipelago, descended from Melanesian-Papuan populations overlaid by Austronesian migrants roughly 4,000 years ago, organized into patrilineal wife-giver and wife-taker kin groups.
They are an indigenous people in the Maluku-Southern people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Fordata.
