The Semandang of Indonesia
The Semandang of Indonesia, numbering about 55,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bidayuh people of West Kalimantan's Sanggau Regency, among the earliest inhabitants of Borneo with oral histories reaching back over 1,500 years, traditionally practicing rotational agriculture and hunting from hillside villages built for protection.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Semandang.
