The Modang of Indonesia
The Modang of Indonesia, numbering about 28,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Dayak river people of East Kalimantan's Mahakam basin in Borneo who once dominated the region's headhunting-era power struggles against the Kutai sultanate, known for men's houses and masked dances.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Modang.
