The Katingan Dayak of Indonesia
The Katingan Dayak of Indonesia, numbering about 83,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Dayak sub-group of Central Kalimantan named for their homeland along the Katingan River, related to the neighboring Ngaju within the broader Dayak classification and sharing the indigenous Kaharingan animist tradition.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Ngaju.
