The Kahaian of Indonesia

The Kahaian of Indonesia, numbering about 83,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Ngaju Dayak people who call themselves oloh Kahayan, or person of the Kahayan, whose river homeland in Central Kalimantan hosted the 1894 Tumbang Anoi Agreement uniting all Dayak tribes in peace.

They are an indigenous people in the Barito of Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Ngaju.
