The Bekati of Indonesia
The Bekati of Indonesia, numbering about 6,600 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bidayuh-related Dayak people of Bengkayang and Sambas districts in West Kalimantan, tracing their origin to Bukit Bawang and once divided into three rival descent groups.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Bekati'.
