The Rambang of Indonesia
The Rambang of Indonesia, numbering about 164,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a South Sumatran Malay people of the Rambang River and surrounding valleys whose identity is rooted in riverine agricultural communities, distinctive Rambang dialect traditions, and longstanding cultural ties with neighboring Ogan and Enim peoples.
They are an indigenous people in the Kaili-Tomini of Sulawesi people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Central Malay.
