The Kubu of Indonesia
The Kubu of Indonesia, numbering about 13,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a mobile forest people of southeastern Sumatra's lowlands who call themselves Orang Rimba, meaning people of the jungle, traditionally maintaining independence from surrounding Malay society by dwelling deep within the forest interior.
They are an indigenous people in the Melayu of Sumatra people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Kubu.
