The Kayu Agung of Indonesia
The Kayu Agung of Indonesia, numbering about 70,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Komering-related community of South Sumatra centered along the lower Komering River whose identity reflects both Komering heritage and a distinct regional tradition rooted in the Kayu Agung lowlands.
They are an indigenous people in the Lampung of Sumatra people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Komering.
