The Aneuk Jamee of Indonesia
The Aneuk Jamee of Indonesia, numbering about 75,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Minangkabau-descended community of Aceh's western and southern coasts that emerged through centuries of migration, intermarriage, and cultural blending with neighboring Acehnese populations.
They are an indigenous people in the Aceh of Sumatra people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Minangkabau.
