The Hatam of Indonesia
The Hatam of Indonesia, numbering about 23,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are one of four Arfak subgroups, alongside the Meyah, Sougb, and Moile, inhabiting West Papua's Arfak Mountains, whose name for the range, Indonga or big mountain, comes from the Hatam language, and who form the largest indigenous group in Manokwari.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Hatam.
