The As of Indonesia
The As of Indonesia, numbering about 400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Asbaken village community on the north coast of the Bird's Head Peninsula whose Austronesian heritage language is now moribund.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Papuan Malay.
