The Asmat Casuarina of Indonesia
The Asmat Casuarina of Indonesia, numbering about 13,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Asmat people of South Papua's low-lying coastal swamps, also known as Kaweinag, whose livelihoods include fishing, farming, hunting, logging, and woodcarving.
They are an indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Casuarina Coast Asmat.
